Organization profile

The Division of Plastic Surgery in Penn State College of Medicine's Department of Surgery provides treatment for a wide range of conditions, both congenital (birth defects) and acquired (including tumors, trauma and aging).

In addition to its clinical work, the division's comprehensive education program - including a six-year integrated residency program - meets the realities of a rapidly changing health care system.

In addition, the team leads clinical trials with specialized interests in breast surgery, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, reconstructive surgery and oncology surgery.
