Research interests

Research interests in molecular biology, microbiology, genomics, biochemistry and synthetic biology. Extensive experience in functional genomics, construction of heterologous gene expression platforms, gene mutagenesis and strain development, protein engineering and cofactor biosynthesis, and development of photosynthetic microbes for bio-energy and nutritional production. Substantial experience in strain development in metabolic engineering and secretory protein overproduction.
