    Teaching and educational interests

    Dr. Kelly Holder is director of the Office for Professional Mental Health at Penn State Health/Penn State College of Medicine. In this role, she is responsible for advancing faculty, physician, resident and student mental health by establishing a reliable mental health safety net for trainees and providers. She presents more than 50 group workkshops and presentations each year and has been an instructor for Mental Health First Aid for Penn State Medical Group since 2017.

    Dr. Holder is involved with the Psychology Internship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She has served as an interviewer for the program since 2017 and has presented didactic lectures to interns since 2014. She has also taught and facilitated small groups for medical students at the College of Medicine.

    Clinical interests

    As part of her clinical role, Dr. Holder serves on Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center's Domestic Violence/Sexual Violence Task Force and the Behavioral Threat Management Team. She is also a member of the Department of Psychiatry's Schwartz Rounds Committee and a former member of the LionPulse Wellness Committee on campus.
