Research interests

Dr. Matthew Moyer's research interests include EUS-guided ablation of premalignant pancreatic cysts and other gastrointestinal and thoracic cancerous or precancerous mass lesions. He also studies endoscopic technologies and techniques for the evaluation and staging of GI cancer and for the resection of GI tumors and masses.

In addition, Dr. Moyer is involved in the study of Natural Orifice Translumenal Endoscopic Surgery, or NOTES, and innovative endoscopic techniques for patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
