    Teaching and educational interests

    Dr. Omrana Pasha brings significant experience in education to the College of Medicine. At a previous institution, she served as the program director of a Master of Science, Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Clinical Research) program and has also previously developed and implemented research training programs internationally, funded by diverse sources such as the Office of Global Health Affairs and the U.S. Department of State. This training has supported opportunities for junior health care personnel, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and psychologists, to develop research expertise and to advance their academic careers.

    Dr. Pasha also became co-director of Penn State College of Medicine's Junior Faculty Development Program, effective July 2020. This program has a holistic curriculum and mentored project designed to enable sustainable career trajectories in an academic health system.
