    Research interests

    Dr. Rodney Ellis' primary research interest is in molecular imaging for prostate cancer and radiation therapy planning for advanced image-guided radiation applications. He is the principal investigator for a Phase III randomized trial for intermediate-risk men with prostate cancer, randomized between hyperfractionated radiation and stereotactic radiosurgery. His main focus of research and expertise is in advanced image guidance for dose-painting prostate cancer, utilizing either IMRT/SBRT or brachytherapy with multimodality imaging.
