Dr. Srinivas Koduru has extensive experience in cellular and molecular biology of cancer and stem cells.
Dr. Koduru's research focuses on biomarker development of various diseases using non-coding RNA and comprehensive data mining of NGS data from public and restrictive databases. Other significant research interests are molecular signaling of hematological cancers (multiple myeloma) and human adipose stem cells and their differential lineages (insulin-producing b-cells).
For the past several years, Dr. Koduru has focused on developing functional beta cells from human adipose stem cells and making their molecular signature comparable with native human pancreatic beta cells using various advanced molecular techniques. These projects are done in an effort to find a solution to diabetes.
