Dr. Stephanie Gill has a deep interest in the integration of oral health and primary care, stemming from her interests in medical education, medical education scholarship, health disparities and public health. Oral health and overall health are connected, but many people lack adequate dental care.
Currently, she leads a five-year, federally funded grant to integrate oral health and primary care through the development of an oral health curriculum for medical professionals to regularly assess oral health risks and conduct oral health exams during patient encounters.
Dr. Stephanie Gill is actively engaged in medical education as a clinical preceptor and as a faculty presenter and facilitator.
Dr. Stephanie Gill provides a full spectrum of primary care for adults and children, including prenatal care and oral health prevention, particularly in the assessment and prevention of early childhood caries.
