Research interests

Dr. William Hennrikus' research interests center on pediatric fractures, pediatric sports medicine and musculoskeletal education for primary care physicians. He has published more than 150 scientific articles and book chapters and is a member of Penn State College of Medicine's Medical Student Research committee.

Teaching and educational interests

Dr. William Hennrikus teaches medical students and residents at Penn State College of Medicine. He serves as faculty adviser to Penn State medical students on military scholarships and to medical students on global health trips to Panama. 

Clinical interests

Dr. William Hennrikus is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with specialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine. He sees pathology related to traumatic, athletic and congenital problems of the musculoskeletal system in children and adolescents. Dr. Hennrikus serves as medical director of Penn State Pediatric Bone and Joint Clinic.
