Translational control in neurogenesis by ZNF804A

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Modified Public Health Relevance Section Our primary objective of this project is to determine the molecular mechanism of ZNF804A controlling protein translation in neocortical development. By using integrative and sophisticated genomic/ proteomic approaches, we will elucidate the functional gene-gene interaction of ZNF804A with other developmental genes, which may alter the brain development and consequently contribute to changes in brain structures.
