Abstract

A higher order technique is presented in this paper to compute the probability distribution function of the forced response of a mistuned bladed disk assembly. The modal stiffness of each blade is assumed to be a random variable with a Gaussian distribution. The validity of the analytical technique is established by comparison with results from numerical simulations.
