Almost-topological representation theorems for dynamical systems

Abstract

For topological dynamical systems (X, T) representation theorems into shift dynamical systems are proved where the representing map φ is a homeomorphism between residual sets. φ can be endowed with additional properties so that the entropies of a measure m and its transport φm are arbitrary close.
