Cross section and polarization of recoil electron in inelastic electron-deuteron scattering

Abstract

In the one-photon-exchange approximation to inelastic electron-deuteron scattering, the cross section and polarization of the outgoing electron are calculated in terms of the eight nuclear form factors for arbitrary initial spin states of the incident particles. A procedure for the determination of the form factors is described.
