Abstract

We explore some of the consequences of our earlier determination of diffractive parton densities which are normalized to HERA data and assume hard scattering factorization. Comparisons with preliminary data from HERA and the Tevatron suggest that at low x and low Q2, the proton's diffractive and inclusive gluon and quark distribution functions have the same x dependence.
