Abstract
The Maxwell Garnett approach has been used to estimate the effective properties of a nonlinear, bianisotropic particulate composite. This composite is formed by randomly dispersing electrically small, linear bianisotropic inclusions in a nonlinear, homogeneous, isotropic dielectric-magnetic medium. The dielectric susceptibility of the host medium is assumed to depend on the electric field. Various types of nonlinear bianisotropic composites can thus be tailored by materials scientists for optical purposes.
