N2 - Adhesive-bonded anchors are increasingly adopted as structural fasteners for connections to hardened concrete. The strength of these anchors relies on several factors such as geometric parameters and adhesive bond strength. Due to the complexity of the interaction of these factors, it is difficult to estimate their tensile capacity. Furthermore, these anchors have not yet been incorporated into the design provisions of ACI 318-08. This study aims at estimating the effect of different parameters on the tensile strength of concrete adhesive anchors in uncracked concrete using artificial neural networks (ANNs). The ANN model will be able to capture the complex relationship between the tensile strength of anchors and different parameters.
