Abstract

Equations (8)–(13) of our paper [1] contain a repeated typographical error. The correct versions of these equations are as follows: J J p n ( ( z z ) ) = = µ µ p nn p ( ( z z ) ) dz dz d d _ E E F F n p ( ( z z ) ) } , z ∈ (Lw, Ld) (8) EFn(z)= Ec(z)+ kBT ln[n(z)/Nc(z)] (9) EFp(z)= Ev(z)− kBT ln[p(z)/Nv(z)] (10) p n ((z z ) ) = = n n i(i(z z ) ) exp exp {−[ {[E E Fn F (p z (z ) ) E E i(i z (z )] ) / ]/ k k B B T T } } } (11) ni(z)= √ Nc(z)Nv(z)exp[−Eg(z)/kBT] (12) Ei(z)= (1/2){Ec(z)+ Ev(z)− kBT ln[Nc(z)/Nv(z)]} (13) The definition of conduction band-edge energy Ec(z)contains the same typographical error. The correct definition is Ec(z)= E0 − [qeφ(z)+ χ(z)]. In Eq. (16), Nf(z) should be replaced by Nf(z) + ND(z), where ND(z) is the doping density, which is positive for donors and negative for acceptors. The correct version of this equation is as follows: ε0 dz d [ εdc(z)dz d φ(z) ] = −qe [Nf(z) + ND(z) + p(z) − n(z)]. (16) In Table 1, µn(cm−2 V−1 s−1), µp(cm−2 V−1 s−1), and RB(cm−3 s−1) have to be replaced by µn(cm2 V−1 s−1), µp(cm2 V−1 s−1), and RB(cm−3 s−1), respectively. These errors did not affect any numerical result or conclusion provided in the paper. We regret our carelessness.
