Abstract

This paper introduces a highly convergent exact series representation of the remaining singular integral which is valid except in the immediate vicinity of the singularity. This exact new expression when used in conjunction with an existing exact expression which is valid for ρ = a and z = 0, provides an extremely accurate as well as efficient means for evaluating this integral.
