Abstract

Genetic characterization of seven hydroxyurearesistant (HuR) mutants selected from cell cultures of Nicotiana tabacum var. Xanthi has shown that in each case resistance is inherited as a single, dominant, nuclear mutation. Four HuR mutants for which linkage analysis has been performed identify two unlinked loci.
