Genitourinary ultrasound

Abstract

The genitourinary (GU) system can be evaluated using many imaging modalities; however, the bulk of GU evaluations are best imaged initially with ultrasound. This chapter looks at the ultrasound evaluation of the kidneys, the urinary bladder, ovaries, the pregnant patient, and scrotal and testicular pathology.
