Heat capacity measurements on 3He-4He mixtures in Aerogel

Abstract

We have measured the heat capacity of 3He-4He mixtures in aerogels for high 3He concentrations. For temperatures greater than 150 mK the heat capacity is linear in T. This linear region grows substantially with increasing 4He concentration and for sufficiently low temperature the heat capacity per unit volume becomes independent of the total concentration.
