Abstract

A novel nanoporous H2S adsorbent that can effectively adsorb H2S from gas mixture at low temperature was developed by loading polyethylenimine (PEI) into the mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) revealed that the adsorption performance of the new adsorbent (MCM41-PEI) is better than that of a commercial ZnO.
