Microstructure and electric properties of 0.94(Na0.535K0.48) (Nb1-xSbx)O3-0.06LiNbO3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics

Abstract

0.06LiNbO3-0.94(Na0.535K0.48) (Nb1-xSbx)O3 [abbreviated as KNLNS-x] (with x=0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05, 0.06) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide ceramic processing. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns show that all ceramics samples possess pure perovskite phase. KNLNS-x ceramics with x=0.01 show excellent electric properties, giving a piezoelectric coefficient d33=225 pC/N, electromechanical coupling factor kp=47.8%, dielectric constant εr=1255, dielectric loss tan δ=0.0196, and Curie temperature tC=4685°.
