Mix sintering of ferroelectric materials using hip

Abstract

BaTiO3and Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3were mix sintered by HIP treatment. The observed dielectric constant of the sintered body show excellent coincidence with the calculated from the dielectric constant of individual constituent phase assuming the co-existence of the phases. Co-existence of the two phases were confirmed also by EPMA analysis.
