A CIO works towards serious crisis management in consultancy practices by targeting negative economic situation, corporate cost-cutting measures, and anti-CEO and business requirements. The CIO works towards higher visibility and C-level status to deliver effective crisis management. They are also aimed to deal with the corporate crisis that have progressed from aggressive, heavy-handed employee management to soft tolerance of poor performance. CIOs need to review the present service-level agreements and revise the turnaround times on the basis of new staffing levels and expertise. A CIO need not miss any opportunity towards crisis management and act accordingly in case of serious crisis.
