Abstract

The optical properties of an isotropic optically active medium at oblique incidence were studied. Sah and Gowri Krishna calculated the plane-wave transmission response of an isotropic chiral slab. It was found that the constitutive relations used by them were inconsistent with energy and reciprocity requirements.
