Abstract

Today's engineering graduates are expected to be familar not only with the numerical and computational aspects of computers, but also with their use in an experimental setting. Pennsylvania State University is preparing its mechanical engineering students for this reality by offering them wide exposure to PCs in a variety of laboratories and support facilities. This article discusses the use of PCs for laboratory work.
