Abstract

This paper forms the basis for a panel discussion scheduled at the Frontiers in Education Conference concerning Professional Engineering (P.E.) registration of engineering technology (ET) graduates. The paper contains the opinions of the panelists and represents a starting point for the discussion. The panelists' positions range from supporting and opposing ET registration to forming a separate registration. One panelist's position includes an interview from a practicing P.E. with a bachelor's degree in transportation technology.
