    Abstract

The specific attenuation and reflectivity factors are simulated at 14, and 35 GHz frequencies from disdrometer measured raindrop spectra. Scatter plots showing their relationships with the simulated rainfall rates are presented. Power fits to these relationships are also presented for drop size distributions measured at three different geographical locations around the world.
