Abstract
Motohiro-Taga interfaces (MTIs) formed by thin di-electric-magnetic films comprising columns with elliptical cross-sections are considered. Propagation in the morphologically significant plane is shown to be affected by the ellipticity of the columnar cross-sections only in a simple way, which means that the design of devices using dielectric MTIs is not significantly impacted.
