Abstract

The reconstruction of small nasal defects is a gratifying skill that improves with experience, a careful attention to the process, and a critical analysis of results. In the situation of small defects, because most of the native structures are unaltered, the surgeon has the opportunity to restore the patient's facial appearance to one that closely approximates the original state.
