Structure and piezoelectric properties of sol-gel-derived (001)-oriented Pb[Yb1/2Nb1/2]O3-PbTiO3 thin films

Abstract

A report on the structure and piezoelectric properties of sol-gel derived (001)-oriented Pb[Yb1/2Nb1/2]O3-PbTiO 3 thin films, was presented. It was found that the crystallographic texture of the films is affected by heating rate, annealing temperature and film thickness. It was also found that the transition temperature of the (001)-oriented PYbN-PT (50/50) films is around 360 °C.
