Abstract

A study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of different strains of commercial live IBD vaccines on the bursa of Fabricius in chicken without maternal antibodies administered on 14th day. One mild, 3 intermediate and 3 intermediate plus strain IBD vaccines obtained from 3 different commercial companies were included in the study. Live intermediate and Intermediate plus strain IBD vaccines caused significant bursal damage in chicken without maternal antibodies.
