The experiments regarding the quality and accuracy of water vapor instrumentation, in the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) program, are discussed. The ARM program was designed to collect long term atmospheric state dataset and atmospheric radiances related to clouds and water vapors. The development and test parameterizations that result in the accurate prediction of the radiative properties and to model radiative interactions involving water vapors and clouds, are also discussed.
