In this commentary, the author brings together three articles in Reading Research Quarterly’s special issue on affect theory—Nichols and Coleman; Garcia, Guggenheim, Stamatis, and Dalton; and Burnett and Merchant—under the overarching concepts of atmosphere and mobile architecture.
