Abstract

Several significant factors that engineers need to consider and adopt to solve the complex problems, are discussed. Problem solving level and problem solving style are the key variables that should be determined to gather all the knowledge required to solve complex problems. problem solving level refers to a person's mental resource for solving problems and is a measure of a person's cognitive capacity. Engineers need to be professionally skilled and conduct research and on the related issues to solve technical problems. They also need to have a better functional understanding of how the brain solves the problems. Engineers can be able to solve a technical problem more effectively when they work as a team under an experienced professional leader.
