Abstract

Ferroelectric properties of sputtered single domain/single crystal PbTiO3 (PT) thin films are described. The PT thin films show (001) orientation on a miscut (001) SrTiO3 (ST) substrate with a strained deformation due to the lattice mismatch. The tightly bonded interface modifies the ferroelectric properties; (1) a decrease of polarization, (2) an increase of coercive field, (3) a diffused temperature anomaly.
