Researchers report the successful growth of geometry-controlled ultrathin single crystalline (SC) perovskite wafers using a dynamic flow microreactor system. Comparing to a photodetector made of microcrystalline-perovskite thin films, the SC wafer detector shows 350 times higher photocurrent response. The researchers have employed an ultrathin geometry-defined dynamic-flow reaction System to grow the single-crystalline perovskite CH3NH3PbI3 wafer. The dynamic flow is achieved using a peristaltic pump to warrant the crystal growth using constant fresh solution. Based on the inverse temperature crystallization of perovskites in γ-butyrolactone (GBL).
