TiN from TiO2 via cycling microwave

Abstract

TiN powder was prepared via the microwave-induced self-burning process using a variety of commercial powders. It was established that regardless of identical experimental conditions, the starting raw powder characteristics significantly affect the shape, size and distribution of the TiN powder.
