Transverse spin with high energy polarized beams at an EIC

Abstract

Future Electron Ion Collider at medium - high energy √s ∼ 20÷70 GeV is discussed. This facility will be valuable for transverse spin physics studies. Wide range of Q2 and PhTwill allow to study both QCD evolution and interplay among differentQCD factorization formalisms. Threedimentional distribution of partons inside polarised nucleon can be measured at EIC.
