TWO-PHASE PRESSURE DROP IN HORIZONTAL PIPELINES.

Abstract

Various correlations are discussed for predicting the essential parameters needed in the design of two-phase oil/gas pipelines, but not in computer-usable form. In this paper various computer-usable empirical equations are given based on the pertinent published correlations. Various in-situ liquid holdup correlations are evaluated and empirical equations are presented for the three correlations thought to be most applicable to oil-gas systems. A hybrid model is developed using these empirical equations.
