Abstract
Various properties of the hard-core bosons (HCB), which were confined to one-dimensional lattices, with a universal power-law decay of one-particle density matrix (OPDM), independent of the power of the confining potential, were investigated. Based on exact treatment of HCB, large distance behavior of OPDM was obtained, and the occupation of lowest natural orbital (NO) in the thermodynamic limit was also determined. The occupation of the NO for large-η at low densities was also studied. The finite-size corrections and the momentum distribution function for finite systems were also analyzed.
