Abstract

The sequence of the human embryonic βlike globin gene (ε upstream regulatory region has been reported previously. In the course of our own work, we found a significant number of discrepancies between our sequence and the data base sequence, which we show here to contain large clusters of errors within functional εglobin regulatory domains.
