Utilization of double-step shear strain experiments in the evaluation of rheological constitutive equations

Abstract

An experimental program is proposed to provide a critical test of how well any proposed constitutive equation is able to correct defects in the predictive capabilities of the K-BKZ theory. The experimental program involves using the measured shear stresses from an appropriate sequence of double-step shear strain experiments.
