Wavelet transforms, wideband ambiguity functions and group theory

Abstract

Four forms of the wideband ambiguity function are unified by showing that they are connected to the affine group. Viewing the wideband ambiguity function as a wavelet transform, inversion of each form is then explored, using the various forms of the invariant measures of the affine group. Further questions for research are then considered.
