Abstract

Artists have evolved to take advantage of rapid prototyping technologies; combining software skill and savvy process selection with the provocative subjects and forms of the contemporary conceptual artist. Having acquired fabrication mechanisms engineered for the creation of multiples, modern artists working with digitally mediated form are not losing sight of the purpose and power of the one of a kind.
